This modification has been compared to some of the better portable pre amps on the market. This modification changes the op amps and capacitors in the input path including the RCA inputs. The capacitors for the power supply and phantom power are also upgraded to give the user the best quality this interface can offer.

The Korg MR1000 modification is to provide the ultimate in pure signal transfer from the source. Coupled with the DSD format of the recorder this is a great tool for mastering to two track as well as field recording. The op amps and capacitors are changed for much better quality components chosen for clarity, depth and speed to capture your source just as it is. The output stage mod is made to allow matched output to the inputs so your monitoring will better represent what the recorder is capturing. The headphone outputs are upgraded with the output mod.
